lyrics
The sun is in my eyes and all my dreams behind me
Left with my cares and woe abandoned by the road
I know a way to go where memories can't find me
Lost in the rhythm of the road
Tucked in your lonely bed where the dark can't find you
Face your old enemy, a world that doesn't care
Outside the wild geese call, they sing their open road song
To find the rhythm of their road
Just like a white bird, skimming the lines of the highway
Just like a bad dream, banished by the dawn
Just like the albatross, a bird of ill omen
You won't see me ... I'll be gone
There is an open road that is forever empty
Lost years that roll on past, dark milestones by the way
My fate it follows like a juggernaut behind me
Till I lose the rhythm of the rhyme
Another traveller lost in time
Another traveller lost in time
Just like a white bird, skimming the lines of the highway
Just like a bad dream, banished by the dawn
Just like the albatross, a bird of ill omen
You won't see me...
I'll be gone
I will be gone
I will be gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone
